Answer

brI look forward to answering questions like yours. I guess you could say loudspeakers are my forte. brbrOkay...brbrYour speakers are somewhat lacking in the bass category, so a good powered subwoofer will be an excellent supplement and will significantly augment the lowest octave of bass extension in your system.brbrBefore I give you some considerations to choose from, I have some recommendations for setup that will work across the board pretty much no matter which powered subwoofer you choose. First, start by placing the sub in a corner for greatest efficiency, then adjust the subs volume and crossover setting to best integrate with your .s start the crossover point at Hz, where your speakers lower limit is and adjust from there accordingly to your taste in your listening position. See if your powered sub comes with a subwoofer cable, and if not, choose a good quality cable with shielding for quiet operation.brbrOk, heres some choices that I recommend lowest to highest retail price actual market price may be variably lower...brbrHsu Research STF my choice for best valuebrBIC Acoustech HbrNHT Classic brDefinitive Technology SuperCube III lowest bass responsebrBampW ASW matching visuallybrbrH a p p ybrL i s t e n i n g !br
